Did not honor upgrade to windows 7 as indicated in the store above product. Could not upgrade

Internet & Web

On august 26, i purchased a dell studio laptop 1555. One of the deciding facgtors for my purchase was that it indicated that i would receive a free upgrade to windows 7.
While i was paying for my purchase, i told the cashier that i wanted the upgrade to windows 7 as indicated above the sample in the store. I was told that i had to go online to receive the free upgrade.
I tried several times online to get my free upgrade and have not been able to do so. It only brings me to where i could purchase my windows 7. I tried calling, but after pressing several numbers and being transferred endlessly after several prompts to try to reach the right person. I have not been able to reach a real person at bestbuy. I do not live in yonkers; a friend drove me to pick up my purchases.
The service at the store was dismal so this really does not surprise me, but i would really would like to receive my free upgrade to windows 7. This amounts to false advertiising to get you to buy a particular model.
