I was a member of AOL for three years.in this time, I have had two different occasions on which they have charged me double for two months in a row. Only after hours and hours on the phone was I finally able to speak to someone who was able to help and credit me.
I finally canceled my account and move to MSN (-Great Service). I made sure to get my cancelation confirmation number due to my dealings with them in the past. - Apparently this was not enough, as they are sitll billing me two months later!
I called them up, and after two hours of getting nowhere, had to resort to disputing the charges.
Giving AOL Your credit card information is like inviting a criminal into your house as you watch them clean it out.
I am shocked and distrubed that such a big company can consistently, unlawfully swipe credit cards, in the hope that only half of these peope will notice and do something about it.
