Ripoff - Non payment of Rebate outlandish ripoff late fees the business that doesnt give a dam

Submitted rebate documentation for purchase of "Dragon Naturally Speaking" Rebate ID 7691997in October and for 3 other purchased products. Rebate paid on 3 items, was never informed that there was a problem on the 4 item. Tried calling the company handling the rebate "wheresmyrebate.com" in January 03.
After a couple of weeks of daily calling and never connecting I sent several emails to the website as directed. Still no response by mid February. Finally connected by phone at end of Feb. Was told that 'wheresmyrebate" never reads emails and I needed to send a fax which I did.
Called 2 weeks later to determine status, was told I had to wait 8 weeks for processing and then call. After 8 weeks I called and was told the fax was never received. I resent. It was now early April.
Waited until early May and finally made contact via phone. Was told that the rebate expired as of April 1 and the rebate would not be paid. This company was the rudest, non customer company I have ever dealt with. I tried to talk to the supervisors who never returned calls.
CompUsa needs to get a different company to handle there rebate claims or it will lose customers.
