Ebay Success System (aka: Eauctionathome, Ebayweb, Michael Greene) Ebay Success System/Eauctionathome Starts 3-day free trial day you order, not when I got CD

I ordered the Free Ebay Success System Kit (stupid on my part) for $1.97 on June 30. I received the disk on Monday, July 6. On Tuesday, July 7 we cancelled the membership. We were told the only charge would be the $1.97. Imagine when I looked at my bank statement today, July 8, there is a $40.35 charge. They charged me for this even before I had received the CD. I am contacting the Attorney General in my state, and anyone else I can. This has to stop, if we are to be able to use our internets, without fear of preditors like this. Time to stand up and fight!

This is their exact reply back to me "Hi, We are sorry for the inconvenience.
You have purchased our program on 6/30 and your three-day free trial membership has been finished on 7/3. Your membership has already been canceled and any future charges have been stopped. As per the Terms and Conditions that you indicated that you had read and agreed to at the time of purchase, past monthly charges are non-refundable. Please feel free to contact us. Alice, Customer Support Executive

The terms she references are "Check everything out online for three days free. If you aren't overjoyed, simply call us toll-free to cancel within three days, and you won't be charged a cent, except the tiny $1.95 shipping fee". I could actually only get on to this site once, so I didn't get to even look on-line for 3 days. What I did see was very little info, found for free on the ebay website. I thought surely there would be more coming in the mail, this couldn't be all there is for them being able to charge $40.00/month. But I was wrong-the CD was what was on-line.

These people are cons, who don't back their product, and I can see why, it's worthless. So what they do is get you to order, send you a teaser e-mail with a website to visit-that was full of info I could get from ebay for free-say they're sending you info in the mail-make you hope there's more coming-and by the time you get it, you're "free on-line 3-day period" is up and WHAM-you're hit with one month charge. Maybe I should go into this business, however, I have a conscience. Don't be stupid like me-run as far away, as fast as you can from these people! I thought I was smarter than this, but I guess we all get duped at some time or another.
