MyLife (Reunion.com) charged my Credit Card for $36.00 for a years subscription this month 'WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION AND/OR KNOWLEDGE'!!
I called them and was put on hold for about 30 minutes as caller number 13, then 9, then 7, then 5, then 1 as next in line. I then waited an additional 5 minutes at least and they disconnected me! I called again and waited and waited.
Finally, I talked to a very rude young punk! He yelled and yelled at me and said that I authorized the charge to my account!!! I told him that I wanted it refunded to my account and to remove my name from every list they had! In addition I told him that for years I have been demanding that Reunion.com unsubscribe me from their email mailing list and that they have ignored each request!
I then told him that I disputed the charge with my credit card company and he got furious! He said that the only thing he could do for me was to charge me 18.00 for 3 months subscription and that I HAD to cancel the dispute with the credit card company or else!...
I told him that I would not cancel the dispute UNTIL they refunded my $36.00 back to my account... He refused. I then told him about the "consumer complaints" website and how people had been reporting them... And that I was also going to report them as well...
Then I told him that I was calling my credit card company and make sure they were 'alerted' to them and make sure a red flag came up. He said, "We have your account number, we can use it any time!"
He then 'Hung UP" on me! I will follow thru with this 36.00 fraud to the end with my credit card company!
Something needs to be done about this company and now! Please help to stop this type of harrassment.
I hope more people do the same thing and run them out of business.!
