Know issues of Left hinged Cracked caused me a Damage LCD Screen and was not replace under Recall. The Customer service representative told me it would be fixed under the recall becuase it was a KNOW Issue!

I had thought it was a Godsend to sent in my Laptop for Broken hinge repair and I told the support rep that That broken hinge caused Damage to my LCD Screen the Rep said it was a known issue and if I told him all my issues relating to that left hinged cracking it would be covered under the recall. However when I sent the unit in explaining the issues I had with LCD screen and stated the Left hinge breaking caused the LCD to break because it would not close properly

I sent the unit in and a few days later I check the status of my repair online there's a pending charge of $432.00.. I called the support line and made it clear once again that there defect caused more damage to my computer after arguing with the lady for about two minutes trying to re-explain the issues over to her because I was not getting my point across I asked for her supervisor and then the phone went dead.

I just got my laptop back today which is two days later with only the bezel and hinged replace and a even more damage LCD screen I am curious how many of us HP is trying to rip offI feel royally screwed that I was told it was a know issue by the rep and it would be covered if I given him all the info before he sent the call tag for the Lap Top.

This unit is under recall and should be fully repaired not to scam others into thinking everything is covered. Then tell us we need to pay to have other things repaired that was related to the broken hinge issue. I feel your service is unethical and very unprofessional I used to tell everyone to buy hp printers and laptops now I beg the differ all my clients and associates will not be buying HP again.
