They grab the money and run

Internet & Web

Computer crashed and required new harddrive I was told, due to spyware.

Upon getting computer home, it began randomly rebooting. Took it back as the receipt said under warranty. I was changed $180 to solve the problem, despite a "warranty", but I needed the computer. Got it home, still was rebooting itself, so I called the store back and was told they were sorry, so please bring it back.

I did bring it back, had them hook it up so they could see it still rebooted randomly, and then began to check it in for repair. Suddenly I ws told that the supervisor "Steve", that told me to bring it in for free diagnostics, suddenly was no longer there, so somehow that voided my warranty? New female manager of the south OKC location actually told me they could no longer work on my compputer? Why? It is under warranty! No response, just a smug smile and I was told to leave. Tried contacting the Texas headquarters, 3 times, but they have yet to respond to me.

I took the computer to another repairman and it was simply the tv tunner board. He took it out and the computer is running fine. Why should I have to pay $180 for nothing, and another $75 for an actual repair? They are jerks and out to screw anyone I assume, not just us seniors.
