Hughes Net attempt to fraud

In December our service was completely disrupted when the equipment failed. Was told that before they could send a service technician that we would have to get a new modem. The modem would be free if we would extend the contract. We said no, they said it would cost a hundred dollars then. Ok, we paid the hundred dollars. They asked if we wanted a service contract. Said ok, even though that added some to the monthly bill. Nothing more was said. We have been a customer for three years and have paid all our bills. The original contract ran out this month and we decided to cancel. Was told that the service agreement extended our contract 2 years. We never agreed to that and even paid them a hundred dollars not too. Now they have told us it will run in the hundreds of dollars to cancel. We cancelled our card so they cannot just deduct it but would like this cleared up.
