Please don't buy avg download

Go to or or anywhere reputable and purchase a cd. Because if you download... You run the risk of getting taken by helpmedownload. Advertised as free but the upgrade for only 19.97 looked so good and cheap. And then two more charges of 1.98 for these great extras.

Surprize - it came as a 70 dollar debit. Can't be. But THEIR "paperwork" shows all these things I signed up for. Just ask the ceo. And then I got the monthly debit of 14.97 (that I would have never never signed up for) when everyone elses updates cost NOTHING!!! I'm now supposed to pay this every month for a year? So I asked the ceo to take his stuff off of my computer and refund my money. He wouldn't.

Reported them to my bank -closed my account-removed the download and went to Walmart to buy virus protection. But I still don't feel safe! If they got you... You can file a complaint with the IC3—the attorney general—the states attorney—the federal trades commission—consumer fraud reporting—better business bureau—consumer protection.

For all of you who have already filed a report here... What happened to your itemized receipt when you went to print it out??? If you insist on using these people-please-copy and paste or better still-run a camera on the screen

AVG is real because I saw the software at Walmart (but I would't touch it!!!) so who is hmdl? And why would any respected company be associated... With all these complaints?
