Bait & Switch, Cancelation is impossible

This is the most unbelievable company that I have ever dealt with.

I ordered a phone and global call package. The phone was to come with a significant discount.

I received no information about the discount and could only buy the phone at full price. But I was only interested in the advertised package.

After a few weeks of writing to them and requesting either termination of the calling plan or a discount on the phone, they let me know that the phone discount had expired, but kept billing me for the plan.

Eventually, they canceled the calling plan, but continued to bill my credit card for the plan for months. I sent several emails on which I had pasted all of the account numbers copied directly from the email bill that I received. They would repeatedly indicate either that they did not see the account numbers or that the account was not in their system.

They were not providing any service, but they continued to bill. I finally found a way to communicate through Digital River and got the billing canceled after hours of failed attempts. But, they would not provide a refund because "I had never contacted Skype before." (not more than 50 times).

Finally, I got an email rejecting my request for a refund because the product that I returned was damaged! There was no returned product involved because I never got the product or, for that matter, the service. It is not worth doing business with them if your time is of any value.
