Charged $40 to my debt/credit card without my permission!

I have a charge on my online account information. I read another consumer complaints on this same company in which a guy had a similar problem.

I called their 800 number only to be put on hold several times, speak with people with thick accents that I could not understand, and they told me they could not help me unless I gave them even more personal information about myself. Finally after hours of this they kept asking for my Credit Card / Debt Card numbers because they could not find my account, but I told them "No".

I'm currently working with my credit/debt card company and a local Public Safety office in hopes of resolving this.

The customer service office for wwwmygrantsitenet isn't the same as the company itself and also seems a bit shady, the way they talked and acted and the fact they kept mentioning a slow or down computer system seemed not all that truthful. I feel like they were trying to wear my down in order to get me to give up and give them my credit card numbers.

Supposedly this is a company that sends a CD of software that writes grant proposals for people. Which I find ridiculous because most people who need grant proposals already have learned how to write one. But in any case they are being very illusive about helping me or stopping the charge. And my credit/debt card company told me so far that all they can do is simply let the charge go though and I file a form to contest the charge, which takes several weeks to do... By the way I use WesternUnion and I'm sort of unhappy with them but that is a whole different rip off report all together.

Stay away from wwwmygrantsitenet or wwwgrantsitenet or www.grantmastercd.com or other such company in Las Vegas NV. Not that you can do anything about it because they simply go out and charge peoples cards as they please. If you search for WWWGRANTSITENET in Rip Off reports you can find the other guys report. I tried replying to his report but the link did not work so I simply filed my own.

I feel bad because I've got an online business I'm trying to run and I had just loaded money onto my card so I can be charged for the website I am running, now I may miss the deadline for the bill. Luckly I've just opened a new bank account but need to know throw another chunk of money into paying for something because wwwmygrantsitenet / www.grantmastercd.com has stolen my money.
