After being falsely charged for something I didn't buy by a company called grantsitenet / grantmastercd Western Union has been little help in getting this resolved. They have no security features at all and their customer service sucks. One lady whom I was emailing with accused me of saying that another rep gave me the wrong information when I never said that at all. I think they are now resorting to childish bickering (of he said / she said) in order to divert my attention away from the issue at hand. Western Union told me to allow the purchase to become final and then file a form contesting the charge but there is nothing more they can do. A few times I put money on my card through one of their many locations only to find the money was never deposited onto my account and at one time I tried to deposit money but the computer said that my account did not exist.

Their customer service SUCKS. It's all people who don't speak english and believe that by talking really fast that it somehow becomes English. Their accents are so thick I just can not understand them nor their sloppy English. They get uppity with me when I do not understand what it is they are trying to say. Now I'm no racist or biggot but it would be nice to speak with someone who actually can speak english (even if they are from another country at least teach them how to speak it).

After being routed around arnd around and kept being pushed back into automated systems I feel that Western Union doesn't even know what it's doing. A lack of security features, lack of ability to deal with fraud, a lack of customer service, and an all around reliability issue. Also even though I understand the charges onto my account I sometimes find that I'm being nickeled and dimed and it all addes up here and there with small charges I'm unsure off is true or false.

I'm not saying that Western Union is a scam. I'm not saying that at all, but I do feel that it is a rip off. And their lack of security is not worth the risk.in my opinion Western Union is too much of a risk to throw your money away. It's like gambeling that someone isn't going to just come along and dip into your account and all Western Union does is stand back and let them do it (as with grantmastercd simply dipped into my account). Even when the charge was still pending Western Union refused to do anything about it excpet tell me to let the charge become final and then fill out a form and wait weeks and even then there is no promise I will ever see that money again. Western Union is simply unreliable, untrustworthy, and WEAK!
