PC ProSchools
7 days of class cost me around $18,000 with interest Kentwood

Internet & Web

I signed up to the promise of a short 6 months in class and a rewarding career. I was taken advantage of.

My wife and I were pregnant at the time and I was only a temp at the place I work. My job spoke of hiring me on full time but no garauntee. So... About to be a new father with no stable job I looked into PCProSchools. I let them know my reasons why I was looking into it.

The school was just opening and I would be part of the first class. The recruiter used my story to reel me in and talk about what a promising future I would have. He mentioned that I would need to sign up right away to ensure I had a spot in the first class. I should have smelled a rat when the recruiter who had been a student, was working there in a job not related to IT. Also, on orientation day, the President, promised he would personally call us if we decide to try and drop out. That never happend.

Before I started the class my job hired me full time. I decided to go ahead with the class anyway since IT is a promising career. Seven days into the class I decided I couldn't possibly do the intense course and train for my new job. I suspected I would only pay about $1,000 and be done with it. Based on a scale they go by if you attend under something like 20-25% of the class you only pay around $1000.

So, I met with a director who told me that eventhough I attended under a certain number of "class" hours, some codes that were required for homework counted as hours also which placed me over 25% paying $12,000, half the total of $24,000. I searched their manual which mentioned nothing about these "extras". When I called the President of the company to complain, he said "they didn't make any money from me dropping the class." You do the math, $12,000 for 7 days in class and only 2 books!
He also said, "I was a loss to them and to myself!" HA

In the End, instead of helping me they will cost me what my child's college education would cost. Do not believe their lies!!!
