I was one of the very first customers of this company. From the start of getting my service connected there were problems with billing. I was billed for service that I had paid for that wasn't hooked up for two weeks after I was billed. I called the company to straighten the situation out and also to let them know that the service wasn't working. After several attempts to get someone to come and fix the service with NO response from the company, I finally stopped paying for a service that wasn't working. I also called and left a message letting them know that I would start paying for the service again as soon as someone came out and fixed it so it really worked. Six months later I finally get a call letting me know that I owe them for six months of service. I explained to the young lady that called that I was not paying for the service until the service was fixed. Shortly after that a technician was sent out to fix the problem which he didn 't fix. I called them again and another technician was sent out and he finally found the problem and fix it. The problem was caused by the original installer that didn't crimp the wires properly. When the technician was at my residence fixing the problem I explained to the technician that I had called and called to have this problem fixed so it would work and finally had resorted to not paying for a service that wasn't working until it was fixed. Shortly after the technician left I received an email from a very abusive and threatening email from an employee of the company telling me that they were going to file criminal charges against me for doing what I did and that it was illegal for me to do that. Not understand what they were talking about I emailed back. I received another email telling me that I had written them a bad check, which I had never even written a check to that company so was completely confused. Having just recently had several back surgeries and having gone through multiple email with this company trying to tell them that I had never written a check to them and having the email get more and more abusive as time went on, I decided to take a trip down to the company to find out what they were talking about. When I got to the company the owners wife was there and was as abusive as the emails that I had received and she proceeded to accuse me of damaging their equipment that their technician had installed improperly. After going through this for a while and being in extreme pain they finally realized that they were threatening the wrong customer and decided to just charge me for the month of service, that didn't work, before and the folllowing month. The service worked for a couple of weeks and then it went down again. They sent another technician out and still didn't fix the problem. Within the next week or so the service went down completely again. It was down for three months and I was told that their antenna was hit by lightning and that they were trying to fix the problem. After three months of calling daily I finally called and told them that I knew for sure that I had a clear line of site to another antenna that they had. They finally came out and moved my antenna so it picked up from the other antenna. Not more then a few days later it went down again and I was told that it was a problem with the whole network. Shortly after that I received an email demanding payment for all the months of service that it didn't work. I emailed back asking if they were going to discount or prorate for the time the service was done. They preceeded to tell me that I had to pay for a service that didn't work. It didn't make any difference to them that I didn't have the service, I had to pay. If you don't get electricity then you don't pay the electric company, the same goes for the phone company or any other utility that you use. If you don't get gas when you go to pump it then you don't pay for it but this company really expects people to pay them for service that they aren't getting at a cost of over 60 dollars a month. Stay away from this company. They are abusive and they have no morals. They will charge you for months of no service without a second though. I also have a copy of every email that they sent to me during their email abuse.
