ACE-Advanced Computer Expertise
This guy has no Freakin Honor!

I have used Advanced Computer Expertised (ACE) in Conroe Texas on several accasions and had been moderately satisfied. I have always been annoyed by the lack of communication that streams from there office to their customers, but we just pick up the phone rather than wait on them to call. My biggist problem occurred earlier this year. I had used them to re-solder the power supply connector back onto the board of my HP laptop in 2007. It went bad again less than a year later. Understanding that this is a wear item issue of sorts I didn't ask about their parts and labor warranty, I just asked them to do it again and I'd pay the few hundred dollars again out of pocket. After waiting a week on parts etc. Etc. I picked it up on my way in to work one morning. When I got to work and started it up it no longer worked at all and the jack was still loose, and the old part they gave me was different than the one in the machine. The management said that he cannot control what happens with the computer after it leaves his business and that they had tested it when they were done so I must have damaged it. I told him it wasn't sliding around in the back of a truck, it was in the passange seat of my Jag! This laptop has all my information from work. It is my baby, and I treat it like one! I ended up taking this laptop that day to a computed store over by Willowbrook Mall who made the repair. They said that the part had never been replaced and was not soldered properly. I got my laptop back and paid much less than ACE charged. I won't do business with a company who's owners have no HONOR. The little weasel!
