Wed.com won't cancel our account

A few years ago a client of mine purchased a web site from Web.com. I'm not sure of all of the details of her purchase because she knows very little about the Internet or even what she did to begin with. She owns a small business and just picked this company with little knowledge about it. To make a long story short I began working for her a few months ago to update her web site. When she finally figured out what a web host was and double checked her past credit card statements she realized she was being charged over $80 per month plus fees on top of that. I told here that she was paying too much just for a simple web site. She agreed and tried to cancel her account. I received a call back from her several days later and she sounded very distraught about the whole ordeal. She said "They won't cancel my account. They told me I had to pay a fee in order to cancel. Does that sound right to you?" I told her no it doesn't sound right at all no web hosting company I ever worked with has ever charged to cancel an account. They did however lower her monthly payments to $25 per month but that's still too much money for what she needs and they still wont cancel her account after several attempts. She even allowed me to call for her to possibly try to clarify things she didn't understand. I was rudely spoken to by their customer service reps and hung up on when I called. All I asked was "how do I cancel a account?"
