Same scam & scare tactics

I was also scammed by this company. They gave me a hot deal, two internet ads for the price of one for a grand total of $350. Over a year later, I've never heard a thing from them about renewal or anything else, but was alerted by another realtor who got scammed, so I called them...

They never called me back at first. Had to leave messages with the accountant (Sharlin), who is also the operator, who is also the book-keeper for the mysterious boss who may not really exist, who only comes in on Wed or Maybe Thurs. No wonder he can't find a copy of the invoice. Oh brother. Finally got help by calling the tech department guy (Bill Faze) who is also the head accountant turns out, who is also the guy who calls the collection agency.

That's when the scare tactics began..."You signed, too bad, you owe over $1,500 for the renewal of both ads... Pay or we call the collection company. You can't win."

They would have charged my card months ago, but I had replaced it, luckily.

I already got some free counsel from an attorney. I'll be calling the Attorney General's office next and whoever else to get all the advice I can about how to take action against this company should they call a collection agency.

And about the ad. Can't even find it anymore unless I type in the exact address. No wonder I never got any response from it.

This company only deals on the phone. They don't want written evidence against them.in the future I'll only be corresponding by email with them, so I have a written record of everything they say.
