Trick shipping agreements

I recently ordered a book I needed in 3 days for a class, from Amazon.com. I paid for standard shipping (2-3 business days) expecting to recieve it in that amount of time. I waited 3 business days and call to track my order.
I was informed that they would recieve the book in 7-10 business days and then I would recieve it within 2-3 days after they got it (for me 14 days total later). Had I known this I would have made other arrangements. I protested; the rep. Admitted it is not stated on webpage, with his worthless apology. I did not cancell, I needed the book.
I will no longer do business with Amazon.com again, even if it cost more to do business somewhere else. I trusted this company. I feel lied to and tricked.
It's not that you're not going to get your product; it's how the business gets the product to you. As a student you're screwed. I will be without my book for the first 3wks of class.
Please, learn you lesson from me. I hate companies like this. Good luck!
