I was searching the internet for info on how to apply for a free govt grant and saw an advertisement from these people who claimed to be endorsed by CNN and other media sources. They had a long drawn out story about how so many people had been ripped off by other companies and how their company was one of the few legitimate companies and to prove it you could order their C.D. Called "Grant Master" by paying only $2.29 S&H chgs and the C.D. Was free. I became a victim because they sounded legit. I pd with a debit credit card and on 7-23-08 two chgs showed up on my acct. One for $1.00 and one for $1.29. A few days later I rec'd the C.D.in the mail. On 7-31-08 another chg showed up of $39.95, which I had not authorized or had any knowledge what it was for. When I called them they started giving me a bunch of double talk about how I had been informed of a membership fee. I told them no I had not or I would never have ordered anything from them. I demanded my $39.95 be refunded and they refused. I immediately called my bank to file a complaint and contest these chgs. I cancelled my card so they could not chg anything else. I starting searching the internet and found out that there was a company in Germany who was claiming these people were operating a scam and had stolen their company name and they had filed a lawsuit against them.
It was then that I realized I had indeed been a victim of a scam. The C.D. Gives you no info on how to apply for a govt grant so it is useless. I wish to file a formal complaint against these scum bags for robbing innocent people. Since I have to live on a limited income, I have to count every penny. I would never have ordered anything that I knew would cost this much. These people need to be behind bars.
