WebsitePros, Eworksxl.netobjects.com, Web Site Pros, WSP Still charged me after cancelled free trial

Web Site Pros (websitepros) still charged me after the free trial even though I cancelled 2 days before free trial expiration. Their phone # is 1-877-339-1919.

—Entered a 30 day free trial for a web site for my company beginning 4/28/08

—Decided to cancel on 5/19/08, but employee extended the free trial to 6/28. (they fight tooth and nail!)

—Decided to cancel for good 6/25/08. Employee said my free trial did not end until 7/28... I said OK and hung up... But I did not believe her.

—Called back 6/26/08. Spoke to different employee and he said free trial ended 6/28/08 like I suspected. After much debate and fighting, he finally cancelled me and I received a confirmation # of cancellation.

—Was still charged on following billing statement of 6/30/08.

—7/9/08 spoke to employee. Said would file a claim on my behalf. Would receive answer via email in about 7 -10 days. I had to ask to speak to a manager 5 times before she would let me. Finally spoke to manager. He would not speed up claims process nor would he transfer me to his boss. (claimed that he could do neither)

Each time I called, I was on hold forever. The, if you want to cancel, they fight and fight and fight. It is very hard to remain nice when they are so pushy. The last conversation on 7/9 took about 45 minutes. I do not think I could have done it if I did not have a speaker phone.

And so everyone knows, the reason I cancelled was simply because I did not see any results or increased sales. They could say my website had 10 million hits and 100 phone calls, etc, but if none of that translates into a sale, what does it matter. (Oh, and they will say if you are not making any sales from it, then you need to improve something on your end).
