Ripoff billing practices fraud jacksonville florida

Internet & Web

Dear America,

AOL has been charging to my credit card account with our bank in Dallas, Texas, after we closed our aol account in August. We followed their guidlines to close our account; notifying them on their On-Line plus calling by phone to stop services. I've contacted aol's Fraud department to get back three months of fradulent billing, to which they say they will charge back to our credit card for the three months of unlawfully debiting our account at the bank.

We had closed our business and home in dallas and moved to our country home which we have homesteaded for seven years. We kept our dallas bank account to a miminal and was not expecting to be debited by aol. Consequently, this overdrew the account and we had to return to dallas to put money in the bank to cover our overdraft.

I called the aol fraud depart to ask for a refund to cover the overdraft costs of $25.00 because it was their doing that ripped us off by fraudulent billing practices. Aol refused to cover this cost and frankly I'd be surprised if they return any of the lost monies. The Fraud Dept. At aol is a fraud in itself, considering how many times I was cutt off the waitng for a Fraud Specialist to handle my complaint. While you are waiting they bombard your ears with some very egregious music straight from hell to I suppose put curses in your spirit.

They told me that they got my call ond on-line message about service but did not see on their computor where I asked for an end to their services... I said, 'How convient for you!' They said sorry, but we are not responsible for the overdraft charge and won't pay! I mentioned that I didn't debit myown account in this amount to overdraft my account, you did and that's stealing!

I saw on the internet where aol was being investigated for fraudulent billing... Well, whoopty-do, there is no justice in the US Justice system and if anyone beieves that, they did fall off a turnip truck. As for priciple, I'd take these dogs to court, but judges in America don't care much for pro per and In Forma Pauperis cases and the seniors seeking justice on their own. Perhaps I'm getting cynical in my older years, but I'm tired of being ripped-off at every turn of life's page. I strongly advise everyone who has aol services to get out now... They are a bunch of commie bastards and admit to being a socialist company who advocates One World government. The New Order, ha! I say down with AOL!!!
