Overdraft Account

I had overdraft account linked to my checking account from Chase bank, that was charging 5-7% interest. I had owed an outstanding amount on the overdraft. I was offered a Chase rewards card from the bank. But when the card arrived it was another overdraft account.

I called card services to deactivate the card but found out later the card was never deactivated. Therefore all overdraft charges went to a new overdraft account with higher interest rates. I went to the bank and paid off my owed account on the overdraft account. I closed all the overdraft accounts. I kept the checking account. I got a call from a lawyer telling me i owe $8,600 on an overdraft account from Chase of which i had no knowledge of. The money i was putting into my account to fund my deductions was being taken by Chase bank to pay overdraft charges which is fraudulent. I had a credit card with Chase which i was denied to make accredited charges on because of bad credit unknown to me. Chase had stopped my credit card service but they never stopped the overdraft account. I signed a waiver form they had at the bank after i closed the overdraft account, to not allow charges from my account if i did not have sufficient amount of money. My complaint is that Chase activated an inactive account and took money from my account and paid the overdraft account. Plus, they are charging the same money i paid off already with interest.
