They are a joke. The national chapter does nothing, why it exists i dont know, they always say to contact the field office. I wanted to know the BBBs organisational policy on better businiss practices. There musy be something they all go by. Simple question was, is a acredited company endorsed by the bbb, responsible for what they allow their customers to do. Point of example, if someone walked into a wall mart, bought a paint ball gun and paint balls and went around the store shooting paintballs at people, what would be more consistant with the Better Business Bureau suggest? If mangement was made aware that this was happening, that the person was in their store firing paintballs at people, and someone reported it to management, is the Better Business Bureaus response for the management to take any type of action, telling them to stop, telling them to leave the store, taking their paint ball gun away, whatever, just some response. OR would it be a Better Business practice to tell the complaining customer that since they did by the paintball gun that thery do not care and that the customer should ask them to stop shooting as opposed to the store taking action. Response? No national policym contacr the local bbb charter.

I wanted to know the policy because I got an unsatisfactory answer from one of their arizona branches. The dispute was that a BBB accredited company runs a domain service to maintain privacy from whois searches, now of course their terms say their members can not spam or things like that, and they even have a little complaint form. After about 10 complaints sent to them about forum spamming, i contacted an arizona BBB branch. Now keep in mind this website is a spam site, and their information is hidden by this company for a fee, the companys response was as if they were so offended, they told me to file a complaint against their customer, not them, i said for one they are a spam site, they dont care what the BBB says, and 2 they hide most of the information so that it is unobtainable by normal means. The local charter sided with the company and stated i should make a complaint against the sites sending the spam
