Epson uses 4 Methods to Steal Ink from your Printer:

1) There is a Chip in each Ink cartridge programmed to report Low Ink Levels no matter what, it always report Wrong Ink Levels, if you open an ink cartdridge reported as "empty" you will be amazed to find that it still contains 1/2 ink.in a few words Epson steals Half of your precious Ink.

2) Hides Wasted Ink in a secret Ink Deposit at the printer's bottom.

Your printer might still be perfectly capable of printing hundreds more pages but the Secret Counter stops it with no real reason whatsoever. It is also known that some HP printers use this method too.

4) It won't let you print using Only Black Ink, it will Force you to Buy Color Cartridges even if you don't need them. There is a Lock inside the printer, it is programmed to Stop you from printing using only black ink.
