I visited OrderPaintball.com on March 3. I saw that they had the Dye hats on sale for 99 cents. This was a great bargain so I decided to order me one and since I knew that there was a $10 handling charge for every order anyway, I ordered more hats for some of my friends and my sons, a total of ten hats. (Three black size s/m, 2 red size l/xl, 2 white size l/xl and 3 white size s/m). I also needed some o-rings, and added those for 99 cents as well.

When I did the checkout, everything appeared exactly as I wanted it - ten hats and a packet of o-rings, each at 99 cents. And then the $10 handling charge which brought my total to $20.89. I entered my credit card info and then checked out my email. Sure enough, I received an email confirmation of my order showing the ten hats and o-rings and the total of $20.89.

On March 10 I received a small envelope via First Class regular US Mail. My wife opened it to find *one* hat and my o-rings with a packing slip. The packing slip showed my order exactly as I had placed it -with ten hats and the o-rings and no explanation of where the rest of my order was.

After several "phone tags" my wife finally got in touch with someone at Order Paintball.com. She was advised that there was a statement on the website that said the Dye hats were limited to one per order. The rep could offer no explanation as to why the checkout cart did not correct this or why the order confirmation confirmed all ten hats or to why a call was never placed to see which hat we wanted since we could only have one and ten were ordered - different colors and different sizes.

So of course, we looked up the website. And still could not find any statement to limitations. Since we had great difficulties with phone calls in the first place, our next attempt was done via email.

This is not the first order we have placed with this company but it was the smallest order. Not only have I placed orders with them before but I have referred them to several people as my sons' friends are all now getting into the sport and wanting to know where to get the best deals.

As a standing customer, I thought it was only right to follow up in writing my grievance and give them a chance to rectify this situation. The emails proved more frustrating than the phone tags. After explaining once again that their shopping cart software should've caught this if there were indeed limitations, and that they should abide by their order confirmation AND the packing slip, I told them that I would cancel my account with them and no longer order from them if they did not want to fix this. Since they were out of hats, I decided that a refund of the handling charge less what it actually cost to ship the one hat and o-rings would be sufficient. And I would still be stuck with a black hat that I didn't want and that didn't fit. (Which everything would've been prevented if they had at least called and seen which hat I wanted, I would have never ordered $1.98 worth of merchandise and paid $10 handling fee, DUH!) After some very unprofessional one line responses ("What's $7 for?") I have decided that this is my last recourse. (oh, and contacting Mastercard too)

So, if you decide to order from Order Paintball.com (and yes, they do have good prices... But do you really know what you will receive?) be sure that you don't really care what you get because you might not receive what you want and if they decide to only send a small portion of your order, you will still be stuck with the $10 handling fee. (and c'mon we know this includes shipping even if they claim "free" shipping! I mean the envelope didn't cost over $1 and shipping was about $1.30 according to usps. Gov) I guess they thought they could read my mind and decide what color hat would be best for me and what size should fit. They were wrong.
