I added Y-alerts to my mobile phone & yahoo texts info to your phone

Yahoo sends multiple texts all day to my mobile phone. I tried to contact them to stop this service. According to Google, many people have had this problem & cannot stop it. They end up getting charged tons of money for all of the excessive textings. Evidently, the only way to stop this is to change your phone number. But, some people have gotten the old discarded phone number & pick up the unwanted Yahoo textings. I have not received a reply from Yahoo about this problem, but it needs some big guns after them. Can ANYONE help? Please!!!
