Time Warner Of El Paso
Poor Customer Service and repair service

Time Warner has experienced so much growth in the El Paso area that they must hire contractor to do their installs. My cable and internet were installed in August of this year. The first problem was the billing, wrong name on bill and then I could not set up the e-mail with them. I still have my address in San Antonio so it has not been a big problem with internet communication.
The cable modem started having problems dropping signal, light going out. ^ phone calls to the customer service did nothing to remedy the situation. I was told on December 24th that it would take 2 weeks to get it fixed. I asked to speak to a supervisor, which of course there is none.

December 26, modem intermitant problems again. Told by custmer service nothing they could do. Must have two service technicians come out. One for inside, one for outside. Time Warner experiencing many problems with contractors and cold weather per the customer service person.

December 27.internet goes out every day at 4:30pm. I think I pissed off someone who turns it off when I get home from work. Technician came out and called me at work, asked me what the problem was. My reply, do you not have a service ticket with the information. Told him the problem. Replaced modem.
Modem worked until 4:30pm when I got home. He told my wife he replaced the connectors that were done incorrectly. HOW, I asked. The yard is locked and he did not have a ladder. Lying Technician...

December 28. Customer service told me all the supervisors in El Paso have been fired, trying to move the repair services in house due to lousy contractors. Told service would not be able to repair until January 7th. I asked to have someone else's scheduled service rescheduled since I have been jerked around for over a week. Impossible... Service calls are mysteriously assigned and no one can correct. Cussed the idiot at Time Warner.

December 29th Called customer service to file a complaint. Told no way to do it.

December 30th. Called Customer Service and got the first polite person I talked to originally. Could not help but did. The group that assigns service calls is in Corpus Christi and they do not know who to call for El Paso

Order ATT DLS and Satelite TV. Screw time Warner. I am sending a complaint to the Regional SW VP. All the execs with that company can only look at qtrly profits and market share.
