Ok so I applied for sponsorship, not knowing there was a $149 application fee. Since i didn't hear anything from them i assumed the application didn't go through, so like a fool i applied a second time. I was charged $298 but didn't find out until my credit card statement came. So i called the 800 number listed on my statement. 3 options say 1 if you are not a member and want detail on memberships press "1". 2 if you are a member and need help with your sponsorships press "2". Any billing issues should be dealt with at Billing@carsponsorships.com. Now im thinking that doesn't sound good. I emailed them. I was surprised to hear back, but was dissapointed with their answer. Here is what i wrote,

I applied for sponsorship and since i never heard anything back a applied again. I didn't realize i was also being charged for the application because it said apply for free. So i would like a total refund on both applicatoins. It says in the terms and conditions i will not be charged if i don't get sponsored, and since i will be charged if i am sponsord i choose to cancel both requests.

Im guessing you will need further information such as a credit card number. Get in touch with me asap,

We want you to be a satisfied member and we will go above and beyond to accomplish that!

I have since emailed them 4 more times and have had no response. I plan on reporting them to the BBB but they have been reported around 150 times in the last 36 months so i don't really see the point. Whatever you do, don't give them you credit card info or you will regret it.
