I purchased my computer a notebook pavilion dv4000 on 11/23, it cost me $1400.00 dollars. The first time i sent my computer in i had it less that one year, the keys were popping off, the mouse was not operable, the wireless net work was not working.

I got it back, and it still wasn't working. I sent it back again, the big problem is with customer service, you call up you get a voice recognition you have to repeat yourself over and over again, then you go to someone that you can hardly understand and they don't understand you, then they transfer you to someone to help you, but the usually transfer you to the wrong department, then after you spend 20 minutes, repeating yourself with your computer serial number, they ask you for a case number from the person before you who didn't give you a case number now you have to give this person your name address, phone number serial number product number and repeat and repeat yourself until your just about crazy. Well to get on where is my computer, since then my computer has been in for repair at least 8 times, this last time tops the cake.

I sent it in for repair, it was sent back to me on october 3, and it wasn't repaired.in fact when it came back there was other things that were broken. The optical drive, and the power button. I called they gave me an order number. They sent me the box and label for shipping through fed-ex on oct 4, i mailed it out on oct 5, i brought it to city shippers and directions #3 on how to send it back write on box the order number out on the box i did under the written directions for shipping your system it does not tell you to remove the tracking number. I didn't go by the example of the shipping label.

I waited i usually get notification in a couple of days that they received my computer and give me an update on how long it will be before the return it. I waited till oct 13, then called hp that when i found out they never received it. At this point i started to get upset, i must have been on the phone for a least 2 hours trying to get someone to help me.

Finally someone said they would have a case worker call me back she would be in on monday no call. I called back again on monday no one but christine could help me i call monday evening i got my case worker christine 1-877-917-4280 ext 09 sub ext 4070 she said she was going to check it out and call her back tuesday morning. I must have called her at least 17 times.

I was so upset with the run around, i decided to call customer relations. I spoke with kyle. She said she need 24 to 48 hours to look into the issue. That same afternoon christine called me back. She told me they found my computer and it was at the service dept she would have them contact me about the repair and give me an update.

I waited from october 16.17 and 18, no call back, not christine not the service dept, and not kyle. I called christine, no answer i called back service spoke with another case worker robert, he told me he was going to call the service dept, and get back with me. This is october 18 no call back no christine, no kyle, no robert nobody, i called back customer relations they said there representatives were busy leave a message and they would get back with me in 24 to 48 hours, i lost it said that i was going to stay on the line till someone spoke to me.

After being hung up on 3 times, i called back got someone by the name of lisa who treated me so badly was so rude, told me that whatever i said was not important she had to find out for herself, and it seems like i never sent the computer in and was i sure that i mailed it. I said you need to listen to what i been saying they said they have the computer, she said i have to find that out for myself.

When i asked her again to listen she hung up on me. I said you don't listen. I'm the one that's been put thru all of this garbage, not you. And she said that i was rude and hung upon me. I called again saturday still no information about what going on with my computer. Now i have been told that i used the wrong serial number and computer number. I check it out no i haven't i checked that out my serial number is 2ce5390qx4 my product number is pc2531v. I am 60 years old women and i am disabled i have crippling arthritis. I depend on computer for shopping and communication reasons & banking, i need it there is no reason for anyone to be treated so poorly, i expect my computer to be repaired and sent back to me.

If they cant repair it then they should replace it, not ask me for $700.00 so they can exchange it. I think me paying $1400.00 for this computer was enough. And 100.00 for an extended warranty. I feel that once they have your money then they leave you high and dry. There is no customer service with hp invent.
