Does Not Care ABout Old Customers, Just Wants To Rake In New Ones aol, america online, internet

Internet & Web

When my mother tried cancelling the service she was called a bad mother for taking her childrens AOL away from them! We for one are adults, and told her to cancel AOL because we were signing up for Opt.

I thought that was pretty funny.

We also quit due to the fact that AOL rewards new members who sign up for 1 year a $100 gift card to Best Buy... Yet they do NOT reward 10 yr plus loyal customers with a thing.

We told them if we cancelled now, and signed up for another year could we have the 100$ they freely give to new members. They said no, and that we could sign up for the AOL credit card rewards program. Yes I really want a credit card with these dirtbags who call your mom a bad mom for taing away AOL. LOL

F* you AOL. Youre dirty sleezy tactics, and sales pitches are disgusting.

What was funny was when we were about to pull the plug, the scumbag who just called her a bad mom told us if we stood we could have AOL for 6 months at only $9.99 a month.

Whatever.

After we declined his offer 3 times, he then nastily tells us 'If you sign on at all for the rest of the month, I WILL CHARGE YOU!'

Some threat, but what was bs about the threat was that we already paid for the month.

AOL has dnasty rude dirtbags working for them, avoid them at all costs... They also sell info to third parties, and this is why members have 300 plus emails a day from viagra companies.

Aol sucks
