Best Buy
Ripoff extended warranties, reward card, MSN not wanted sign up

Internet & Web

I bought an "E" machine computer and was almost talked into an extended warranty that I told them I did not want for $160.00 They did not like the fact that I thought it was an unnecessary thing to insure my new computer would run properly.

I did purchase a Rewards card for $10 with the lure that my future purchase would give me back $40 if I bought another computer. I did that for my daughter, only the rewards were in $5 coupons and I could only use one at a time with a purchase of $10 or more and they expire in two months. I have only used one of them, so far.

One month later, I received a letter from MSN stating they were happy that I chose them for my service provider and after the free 6 months, they would charge my credit card for $21.95 for each month after. I called MSN and cancelled saying that I never signed up for their service and have my own provider and they said that they have had others complaining about Best Buys practices, as well.

I believe that these policies are useless ripoffs and never be sucked into buying any of them.
