Reservation Rewards - WebLoyalty Without my knowledge, they started charging $9/month to my credit card. Here's how to get your money back

I consider myself pretty computer - and internet-savvy and am embarrassed to admit that I got caught by this. Apparently if you click on something that says that you will get a discount on your next purchase, THEY SAY that they tell you that you are signing up for a rewards
program and will be charged. I know I would NEVER pay for that either and if they put that notice online, they hide it pretty well. Then they transfer your credit card info from your recent purchase and voila (*sigh*).

I paid for 10 months (*sigh*). Thought it was something my husband bought before I finally questioned him about the recurring charge.

Requesting a stop-payment from your credit card doesn't do much. The first thing they say is DID YOU CONTACT THE COMPANY. They expect you to try to resolve it first. Good point.

Contacting the company IS what you need to do. And that's all I did and I got my money back.

Call their customer service at: 1-800-732-7031

The trick is: Do NOT just say you want to cancel. If so, they'll stop charging you, but you're out the money they alreay have.instead, tell them that you want a FULL refund, that you never signed up for this.
Tell them that you were charged x times and want all of that refunded.

They'll probably give you a song and dance about how this isn't their company policy. But just for you, they'll do it.

If you do not ask, they will not offer.

The next month, I got all of my costs refunded.

FYI: I reported this to the better business bureau in CT.
