Unauthorized credit card charges - $29.95 per mnth - no info of what was purchased ripoff

I have had unauthorized charges since May on my credit card in the sum of $29.95. I called the number provided on my statement at (800) 748-4573, to ask what this was for and what was purchased. They would provide no information on this though the account was set-up using my personal and credit card information.

I requested that my account me cancelled and to get a confirmation number for the same, and was told they would cancel but would not provide any confirmation of the same.

Upon a investigation, this company's fraud and identity theft seems to be wide-spread internationally, and I am looking into what may be done on legal end, as I am a paralegal. As I find info and determine a possible legal angle to this matter, I will share that with this community as well.
