Yahoo
Fraudulent billing practices Autocharging Credit card when unwanted Ripoff Internet

Internet & Web

Yahoo automatically charges your credit card for premium services once the domain name registration expires. Surprise Surprise! A couple months after the domain name registration expired the charges showed up on my credit card. Not only did they purchase the domain names for me without me knowing about it, but they charges a couple years worth, running up my bill unnecessarily.
Then the only way to prevent it from happening again is to cancel the account and not have access for the next 2 years to the domain names that I'm stuck with owning. Loss of money is one fraudulent act, then they really make the customer mad by not allowing him to have access to the product that the customer owns. Double whammy! Tick off the customer and take his money.

Gurantee I'll not be a return customer to Yahoo even if I have to pay more somewhere else for better service that's honest and upfront about billing practices.
