Pay Pal Can't Be trusted With Your Money

On June 29th We Sold A Dell Laptop On EBay. The Buyer Paid Immediately With PaPal And We Shipped via UPS On 06-30. On July 4th We Received An Email From Papal Stating We May Have Been Paid With Fraudulent Funds And Had Frozen Our Account. Luckily We Had Already Transferred The Funds To Our Bank. We Followed All Papal Guidelines And Sent All Documentation To Papal. They Finalized The Funds Reversal On July 18th, Without Giving Any Reason For Doing So.

We Have Tried Continuously To Contact Them And Spent Hours On The Phone On Hold Without Ever Speaking to Any REAL Person. They State In All Emails "Do Not Respond To This Unmonitored Mailbox". We Finally Searched Through Google And Found Several Phone Numbers To Try. Most Were For Their Marketing Department. We Found One Lady Who Was Nice Enough To Forward Our Info To A Supervisor. The Supervisor Phoned And Stated That We Had Never Responded To Their Inquiries. I Began Reading From Several Emails We Have Saved And He Suddenly Found Them. He Stated That They Were Unsecured Emails And Therefore Useless. We Have All These Emails From Them And To Them.

At This Time Our Account Has A Negative Balance And Papal Says Our Only Alternative Is Criminal Or Civil Litigation Against The Original Purchaser In Virginia. They However Refuse To Divulge That Info Without A Supena. Also No Law Enforcement Agency We Have Contacted (Michigan State Police, Flint TWP Police, Virginia State Police, & Sheriff Dept In VA) Will Even Take A Complaint As We Are Not Injured At This Point. We Believe Pay Pal's Actions To Be At Minimum Unethical And Possibly Illegal.
