Ripoff dishonest, lied to about to differant pavilion note books one was sold as a new one and it was refurbished and the second one has had three hard drives go bad

Hp pavilion note books are junk!

Back in Jan i had a pavilion ze 4800 note book purches for me as christmas present by a relitive from a differant stated from walmart and thay had it shipped to me and i recieved on jan. 6 and this note book lasted to aug 18 when the hard drive went on it. So i took it to a computer repair shop to make shur that it was the hard drive and also to get all of my documents taken off of it and back up to disc.

I was told by the computer shop that the note book was a refurbished note book that was sold to my relitive as a
new one by walmart store as it was in a box that was not mark refurbished and the stickers on it where that it was a new note book.

I then called hp tech support up to find out what they where going to do about the note book hard drive as it was under warranty? I was told that i would have to take it back to walmart for the warranty. I then told them that it had been purchesed in another stateby my relitive and sent to me for a christmas gift and i did not have the purches slip for it.

They told me that it was walmarts problem take it up with them. I then go to the local walmart store and tell them about the hard drive going and showed them the letter from the computer repair company stating that the hard drive was gone and also that this was not a new one it was a refurbished note book. I am told by the store manager that i have to call hp for the warranty not them.
