Ebay Name buffycustoms - Buffyville ripoffed over 10 buyers of her Buffy the Vampire Slayer custom figures, took money/trades never sent figures - complete fraud

Valeri Ouimette, operating as ebay user: buffycustoms andBuffy the Vampire Slayer Figures Forum member: buffyville has systematically ripped off over 10 individuals of cash and action figures in trade for her custom made Buffy the Vampire figures.

As a member of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Figs Forum (she has now been banned as a member), she solicited custom figure sales and took payment via paypal, cash/MO/checks and in-kind trade for other figures from over 10 buyers. These transactions date back to March and amount to hundreds if not thousands of dollars ripped off by Valeri Ouimette.

I have been in contact with many of the wronged parties and no custom figures have been received as promised and no refunds have been given for money or items sent as payment. We know that many of these custom figures were actually made, as she posted photos of them on the BTVS Figs Forum Customs thread. So, we have evidence of the transactions via emails, paypal receipts and those photos posted. However, she never sent the custom items to the buyers.

I will be encouraging all wronged parties to file rip off reports and formal complaints against this individual. Since these transactions did not take place on ebay, no one has been able to recoup their losses from paypal. And those that traded other figures for her customs also are challenged to be reimbursed as these were probably used by Valeri Ouimette to make other customs or for her personal collection. Many of the figures used in trades were highly collectible and valuable.

We will as a group be seeking reimbursement to the fullest extent of the law agains this individual.
