Eagerhost.com
Eagerhost, ripoff - Dishonest Business Practices - Spammer - Rude Customer Service - Bad eBay Selle

Internet & Web

In September I was looking on eBay for a web host for my websites when I saw eagerhost.com was selling a beginner hosting account for $9.95 a month.in the advertisement eagerhost.com / stated that the price would stay the same as long as I remained an eagerhost.com.

Since I felt that this represented a reasonable price, I purchased the eagerhost.com beginner reseller account. Upon purchasing the eagerhost.com beginner reseller account with paypal, a monthly subscription was created in the amount of $9.95 to be automatically paid to eagerhost.com every month.

This arangement seemed fine at the time and I even commended Eagerhost.com for helping me relocate my 35 or so websites to the eagerhost.com servers.

On May 1st 2006 I check my email and find an email from Eagerhost.com / that my subscription was cancelled by eagerhost.com on April 30. There was another email from eagerhost.com stating that they had upped the price of my service and I was to start another subscription to eagerhost.com in the amount of $19.95 immediately or lose my service. Keep in mind this was with NO prior warning or consideration at all for the customer.

Since Eagerhost.com cancelled my account with no regard for me whatsoever I decided to move my websites to a different Company. I have tried talking with Eagerhost.com via their support and and via their email and they have rude and spitfull.in fact they now spam me every day with multiple bills in my email AND threaten to report me to credit agencies.

I wonder how they figure they can report me when Eagerhost.com is the one that renigged on their own promise. My websites are small html sites that get less than 5000 visits per month. They are now hosted on a great server at half the price of Eagerhost.com and the customer service is actually working and nice to use. Unlike the terrible service at Eagerhost.com.

I would warn anyone thinking of using eagerhost.com to reconsider. There are many hosts out there that actuall want your business and will reward you with good customer service. Not hiding, like eagerhost.com does.
