Hewlett-Packard
Ripoff poor customer service faulty product

Internet & Web

I bought an HP 1410 pavillion desktop in april two weeks later the hard drive and the motherboard had to be replaced, it took a month to get this resolved and my computer back.

Approximately two weeks after I got it back I tried to burn a cd and the computer couldn't find the cdrw drive. I called India and was told to run a non destructive recovery.

After I was assured it would not obliterate all my programs and files I ran it. My files were obliterated. I was able to burn one disc, then it could no longer find the drive.

Hp sent a technician to my house the drive was replaced, no diagnostics were run to my knowledge and the computer still tells me that it can't find the drive.

I am now running a full recovery on this computer, and for the fourth time I will have to load all my productivity software which will take me approximately 4 hours to load and register and tweak.

I will never buy another HP product again, not even paper. Hewlett-Packard has shoddy business practices, is greedy and clearly has no concern for their customers.

I will take this as a lesson in life and hope that the rest of the world will recognize their shoddy business practices and penalize them by not buying their products. Money talks and it's the only language they understand. Let's send them a message.
