Ripoff new gangsters in town

Two days talking and trouble shooting with technicians in india (13 hours on the phone), linksys finally admitted wireless router WRK54G was defective and since it was under warranty they agreed to replace it. They insisted that they have to put a hold on my credit card for the cost of a new router untill i mail at my cost the defective unit back to them. 3 days after i mailed back the defective unit thru fedex they slap a charge for 74.19 dollars on. Here is the sweet part. They mail the replacement on 05/24/06 and i recieve it on 05/28/06. I mail back the defective unit on 05/02/06 thru fedex and they recieve it on the 05/04/06. They claim it took more then 10 days so they have to charge me. Help me understand how you can count 10 days from when they mail it out and when they recieve it instead of when i mail it out like they did. Their clock starts when they mail it out why should my clock not start when i mail it out. This is a rip off.
