Ripoff sent wrong item, wouldnt send right one, tried to charge us for more expensive item, nightmare! Internet

Im sure by now, Overstock.com knows who I am. I simply ordered a wool flotaki rug in mushroom color. The price was 119 dollars with like, 2 or 3 dollars shipping. What a deal. Husband and I were so excited.in three days, way ahead of what I thought, I got the rug. Wow. I was so thrilled, I ripped it open and... Uh... Hmm. This rug is not wool. Its... Acrylic and its a shag rug! Upon looking on line, I see they sent me the "worlds best shag rug" in mushroom. Ok, an accident. Accidents happen, I checked and double checked to make sure I ordered the correct rug, and I did.

Now the nightmare starts. I had to haul that huge ass rug down to UPS and ship it back to Overstock.in turn they promised me the Flotaki rug. Weeks went by. Sound familiar? No rug. No rug. I check with them, I get on line and chat with them, no rug. This is where it gets fun. We get a notice in the email that the rug is OUT OF STOCK. Ha! What fun! So we say, um, ok, we see you have a mushroom flotaki rug, 8X8 feet, similar to ours, so we will just take that one instead. I think we were being VERY understanding and generous. THey write back, no mam, that rug, the 8X8 one is 169 dollars, NOT 119, so you will have to pay the difference AND like, 25 dollars in shipping. I said, um, no, you sent me the wrong rug, mad eme wait months for the right rug, then tell me the right rug is out of stock. I think you will be giving me that Wool rug that looks EXACTLY like the one I originally ordered, BTW... For 119 and free shipping. Oh we are sorry, mam, we cant do that. I said, listen, lady, we have been waiting for SOME RUG for 4 months now. She insisted we pay the 169 plus shipping for the SAME RUG we had orignally ordered and they said was out of stock! Are you following me yet?

So Husband and I go back and forth with these people for this darn rug. What a living nightmare. Finally we gave up, telling them we would never do business again with them. We now have a 20 dollar coupon on our next purchase we never plan to use. Ever!
