Classmates.com
Think we are stupid, entitled to a refund under the law no matter what their sleazy policy EVEN IF THEY SAY NO

Internet & Web

I signed up for a free seven day trial of the gold membership to contact old friends. I wrote down the day I signed up so I could call to cancel before being charged.

On the seventh day, I found out that I had already been charged! I looked all over the website, but could find no way to contact them.

I enjoy skip-tracing as a hobby, and no joke that is what I had to do to get their phone number. When I called, I was informed that I had signed up on the previous thursday, but I had wrote down Friday, and I know it was a Friday.

The lady seemed very rehearsed at basically telling me I was mistaken, but I knew better. I explained that there is no way to contact them to cancel, and what I had to do to get their number, and she verified that you cannot contact them through the website.

I plainly stated that I was entitled to a refund under the law no matter what their sleazy policy was especially since they don't have a way for consumers to even contact them.

She put me on hold for two minutes and then stated that I would be granted a refund under special circumstances. Let these people know that you are onto their tricks, and they have no choice but to cave! Do not take no for an answer! If they gave me a refund, then everyone is entitled to it.

Their (unpublished) customer service Telephone number is:
(425) 917-5000, and their address is 2001 Lind Ave. SW Suite 500 Renton, WA 98055... I hope that this helps someone!
