Lost my Rebate for $15.00. They owe me $15.00, ripoff!

We purchased BackUp MyPC 5 Deluxe that had a $15.00 Mail-in Rebate #0150. I followed the instructions and mailed in my rebate form with requested attachments within the date required. I marked my calendar when the rebate should be received.
On that day I checked the StompSoft website for a progress report. The website stated, "Your rebate cannot be found". I called the customer support number but hung up after 15 minutes on hold long-distance and never talking to a human.
I wrote StompSoft a letter on June 20th asking for a progress report saying I didn't get my rebate. I sent copies of the rebate, I got no answer.
July 5 I sent another letter with a warning that if I did not receive my rebate by July 13 I would be filing a complaint with the Oregon Attorney Generals office.
Today is July 14, I am mailing a complaint form to the Oregon Attorney Generals office. I called the StompSoft customer support line again but after 15 minutes long-distance on hold and never talking to a human, I hung up again.
Boy, I would not have purchased StompSoft if not for the rebate offer. As it turned out, we never used the program. I've been ripped off. I wonder how many others out there are being ripped off by StompSoft?
