America online - musicnet ripoff

I signed on with aol in september. Since that time i had to change my password 3 times due to unscruples employees of aol. One of their employees had used my e mail account to send out bogus e mails 500 at a time. The second occaision, someone had logged on as me from a location inside one of aol's places of business and attempted to use my debit card right as i used it to make a purchace on the web. No more than 7 seconds had elapsed from the time i entered my card info & the attempted use of my debit card. Both transactions were automaticly terminated when the second computer went on line as ggumby454@aol.com. The i.P.

Address in question was registered to aol. My security software traced the second transaction to aol. The third incedent was aol attempting to use my visa card after i had recorded my method of payment was by aol, lockbox, ny, ny.By personal check, monthly. When i confronted them with this attempt at fraud, they lied trying to cover it up. I had had a virous problem complements of aol, my computer crashed, and i lost all my data on my computer. I restored my computer with the help of h.P. Computers. Customer support. Aol was no help at all. I asked musicnet@aol for the list of songs that i had already paid for, and the just gave me the run arround. Aol finally reinbursed me $8.95 x 2 for musicnets monthly charge. When i asked musicnet@aol to reenberse me for the songs i paid for, they declined payment. Aol has ripped me off for the last time. Aol has done e mail scams, credit card scams, and outrite ripoffs. There are five entries on my visa card totaling $88.36 i volunterrily canceled my aol account.

I had until 03 paid in full with aol. I had to change my credit & debit card numbers, & also my checking account number. A represenitive from aol called me today practicly begging me to come back to aol. No way. Aol has ripped me off enough. Now i am taking their *ss to court. If aol has ripped you off, or scamed you, or your credit card, join me in taking them to court.
