Unfair charges

On or about 7 October, I went on line to make my monthly WA MU visa credit card payment. I accidentally clicked the block that I wanted to make the full card balance payment of $4310.26, instead of the block that I really wanted to pay, which was $108.00. On 10 October, I discovered my error and attempted to correct it. I was told that the correction could not be made. My bank rejected the payment due to insufficient funds. I called numerous times, talked to several different managers, and was told in so many words, too bad. Today, I'm being told that the wa mu computer system will automatically attempt to make 2 more tries to affect the payment of 4310.26, and that they cannot stop it, they do not have the power or authority to stop it, after several more pleas from me. Each rejection wa mu will further bill my credit card 39.00. I did everything I could, but am continuously being told nothing can be done. I don't believe it.

Yes, I did make a mistake, corrected it, made the correct payment of 108.00 by check personally at the local wa mu bank here where I live, and my monthly payment obligation is satisfied. I don't know how may times I have to pay for one mistake. Also, on Oct 16, a wa mu manager told me that on Oct 20th, the second automated attempt by their computer system will be made. I immediately called my bank ot put a stop payment on that attempt. However, my bank takes 24 hours from the time I make the stop payment to the time it will actually stop the payment. I figure no problem, i took action 4 day in advance. Right. Later that same day, on Oct 16, wa mu did it again, on the 16th, not on the 20th as I was told. Now my credit charge will be charged another 39.00. WA MU, you are an absolute RIPOFF.
