I was told of fast internet speeds and how god the customer service was. I saw the adds on TV. So i hooked up internet service. Was told it was $20 per month. Got my bill and was for $40. I called and was told that was the bundled price and offered to sign me up for more services. Funny how the salesman i talked to didn't tell me that.

Internet was slow and and could not log into netflix to watch a movie. I called and then i was told i had to go with the more expensive plan to get that kind of bandwidth. I told him that i was told that the base service would work. He tried to upsell me several times.

A month later internet was down and wouldn't load my homepage. I called again. Was told there were TOO MANY PEOPLE online! That i had to WAIT for several of my neighbors to logoff so the bandwidth would be available. He said they knew of the problem for sometime. AND they had no plans to fix the problem, because they would have to install new phone lines. Was also told that they could not support the faster speed in my area that the sales team was so eager to sell me.

After many problems i get optimium, a much faster system! And call to cancel. They tied to resel me and kinda pissed me off. Then told me i had to call a special dept, which happened to be closed. Didn't give me a direct number wen i asked for it. So again another 20 minutes on hold in the morning to get grilled, resold, and transferred, only to be disconnected! This happened 3 times.

So i try online support. They say that it is against the law to help me unless i have some code number which they never gave me. WTF? They finally give me a number after a couple different times of logging in to help chat. I think they people get off on pissing off customers. And guess what... That department has been closed every time i call.

SUMMARY
Lied to to sign up, bill was doubled, service nonexistent at times, terribly slow the rest of the time. NEVER offered cash back or discount because of my problems. Set up auto draft without my telling them to. And when trying to cancel it has drug out for over a month and still cant get the right person to cancel!!!

Advice if you have problems with them like i have, call your credit card company and charge all the fee back to them. Mabe if we all band together they will have to treat us better.
