A prescription was sent to me without my authorization and without a credit card on file. When I received the medication, I immediately called and said I had not authorized it and it was not needed. The representative did not offer any suggestions and indicated this was my problem, not his. I informed him I would be returning the meds, which I did. Subsequently I received a bill. I called in again and spoke to a supervisor. She indicated that I needed to pay the full bill because I failed to call in when I received the medication and ask for authorization for a return. I had called in timely manner as she had suggested but my fatal flaw was not knowing their internal procedures. Apparently I should have known to ask for a % form to be able to send the meds back with authorization. Personally, I attribute the problem to a very poorly trained customer service representative who didnt know what he was doing. Still, she demands payment and will send it to a credit agency if payment isnt received. Just imagine if I were to receive a million dollars worth of meds next week and she demanded payment. Isnt this extortion?
