HEA Rip-off

They charged $2600 for a prepaid, special order lens (IOL) which cost $1300 in and above for the surgery multiply by 2 for both eyes. When I asked about this the book-keeping dept could tell me nothing and the Dr just beat around the bush. There was absolutely no value added by HEA ordering the lens and had the lens been ordered through the surgery center (not HEA's) I would have saved $2600. Stay clear of this operation; if this is any indication of the way they do business, then they are the all time ripoff artists.
