Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, INC. Deceptive, Fraudulant Prescription Discount Fraud

This is for a prescription discount coupon for a prescription of Atralin Gel. A brand name Retin-A based Acne medication.
The manufacturer is offering a discount card on their website that spefically states "Use this offer to pay NO more than $25 for each prescription for Atralin Gel."
I went to my dermatologist and paid $80 for appointment to get a written prescription. When filling at the Pharmacy, (Walgreens in Clearwater, FL), I was told the discount card I printed from the website would only bring the Rx to $100.48. When I called the manufacturer's 800 number, as the card says to do, I was told that the card has a "maximum discount" of $100.00. The Rx cost at all local pharmacies over $225. The man on the phone even said that "this offer is very misleading, I apologize." No where on the discount card under the "fine print" says anything about a maximum discount. This is beyond misleading. The drug company expects you to go to the Doctor, pay for an appointment to get the Rx, and then be STUCK with a Rx you can't afford to fill. This is fraud. They refused to honor the still available discount on their website.
