Lies, denies, lies again

On February 17, I ordered two boxes of Interceptor at a cost of $131.90 from Discount Pet Drugs. The prescription was faxed to them on February 17, with full cooperation from my veterinarian. My credit card was charged for $131.90.

As of February 21, I have received no communication from Discount Pet Drugs about an expected ship date (despite their claim on their website that they ship most orders on the day they are placed). I repeatedly tried to contact the company by email and phone. No one responded to my emails, and no one answered the 800 number on their website (after numerous rings, one hears a generic "thanks for calling, and leave a message" recording).

Finally, I tracked down a different number for the company and the man who answered said that my order required a prescription. I told him I faxed the prescription to him on February 17, and he said that they still check with my veterinarian "to verify it." I called my veterinarian and he told me that once the prescription is in my hands, the purchase of medication is between me and the company I buy from. They do not have the time to speak to every company that their clients buy medications from. This response was perfectly understandable to me.

I again called the number where I had reached the man at Discount Pet Drugs, but this time the call was not answered. So, I sent an email that recounted my discussion with my veterinarian, and I refaxed my original prescription. I still have not heard from anyone from Discount Pet Drugs, and I have not received the Interceptor that I paid for.

My advice to all who are reading this: Do not buy anything from this company. You will regret it.
